Students of the UC3M awarded for their competion motorbike project.

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) usually shows that the university does not stay in the classroom and that it has its reflection in the society. It occurs in different fields, for example in engineering, thanks to projects such as the one developed by several students and graduates who have been awarded, with a motorbike created from the beginning. The won the first prize for the best Mechanical Design in the last edition of MotoStudent, a competition between university teams. “It's something revolucionary because it's the world's first monobloc tilt-type motorbike”, explains Raul Key, CTO of Moto-Maqlab, who have developed this project. “We are especially happy because we have been awarded  in design, innovation and industralization", explains.

The Professor Juan Carlos García Prada has been in charge of supervising the students in this design and development and has valued the commitment of the university to translatein the street what happens in the university.

Moreover, this supproses a job oportunity and even an economic return for the patent, Key argues that it has managed to "optimize all its resources to carry out a very serious project"..
