He obtained a degree in Physical Sciences, Basic Physical Specialty, at he Faculty of Physical Sciences of Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1992)
He is PhD in Physics by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Department of Optics. His Thesis is entitled "Optimization of spectral selection processes in the infrared and aplication to gas sensors" (November 1999).
