Doctor Cum Laude and international at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The degree included a pre-doctoral stay in the Department of Mechatronics at the Tallinn Technical University for 4 months and  a post-doctoral stay in the multibody department at the University of Minho.

In his doctoral thesis he developed a smart methodology for dynamic analysis by computer. His line of research continues to focus on dynamic computer analysis, multibody dynamics, mechatronics and defect detection in rotating mechanical elements.
At present, teaching in the field of the theory of machines and mechanisms, graphic expression and kinematics and advanced dynamics.
